I am a Certified Holistic Nutritional Consultant and a Certified Metabolic Balance Coach, with a passion for helping people just like you!
I have always had a passion for health & wellness, regularly testing out new “healthy” recipes on my friends and family…even before I truly understood the meaning.
Since becoming an C.H.N.C. my eyes have been opened to the realization that “healthy” is such a subjective word! What this term sometimes forgets to take into consideration is that just eating healthy food isn’t always going to help you get to your goals. In addition to healthy eating, there are so many other variables that we need to take into account to really optimize our health - stress, sleep, optimal food portioning, and exercise are just a few of the things that really make a huge impact on our energy, our weight, and our overall wellbeing!
After graduating from the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition, I was lucky enough to find the Metabolic Balance® Training Program and quickly signed up to become a coach. During that time of my life I was really struggling with my own weight, my energy, and had felt like I had lost myself after having kids.
I was in need of a reset, and the Metabolic Balance program gave me just that! My plan was catered around MY goals, MY body’s current state, and MY history. It was a completely unique plan with foods chosen for the sole purpose of getting me to my goals and optimizing my health.
I quickly noticed huge changes in my body and mind after starting my program. It wasn’t long until I had reached my weight goal, but that wasn’t the biggest success for me. The biggest takeaways that I got from my Metabolic Balance were:
a renewed connection to my body - I could finally FEEL the difference that different foods could have on my body, both positive and negative.
It gave me structure, which was paramount for my perfectionist, over-organizing mind.
It supplied me with more balance than I had been able to give myself before.
I started my program to lose my baby weight, but it was what I gained that truly mattered.
Since then, I have helped many people reach their goals through Metabolic Balance, and I can truly say that helping them succeed has brought me, and continues to bring me more joy than I can ever express.
